Conservation Commission Approves Five Environmental Permits

Leominster Conservation Commission approves five permits in single session. Chair Stephanie Quinlan and the Commission unanimously cleared environmental permits for hazard tree removal at 139 Grant Street, a walk-out basement addition at Lot 12B Roche Avenue, and a replacement septic system at 147 Johnny Appleseed Lane. The Commission also granted Certificates of Compliance for completed work at 56 Cottage Street and 188 Central Street, with the latter completing successfully following September 2023 flooding.

In separate action, the Commission shifted to paperless applicant filings and expressed support for a 512,000-to-275,000 square foot redevelopment at the Mall at Whitney Field.
