LEOMINSTER — The Conservation Commission deferred a hearing on an eight-unit residential project at 396 Main Street to September 22, pending completion of Planning Board review. The development, filed by E.T. Duval and Sons Inc, was reduced from nine units; applicant representatives Anthony Cleaves and Haley Ward presented design modifications including removal of a rear building, addition of a vehicle turnaround, and revised stormwater systems directing meltwater to underground infiltration treatment.

The pavement limit remains 75 feet from the borering vegetated wetland. A proposed land donation near Pierce Pond was postponed pending City Council and City Solicitor legal review after Councilors Carrie Noseworthy and Claire Freda raised questions about deed restrictions and municipal liability.
