Council appropriates $273,000 for police and wire overtime

Leominster City Council appropriates $273,000 in emergency overtime funding. The Council voted unanimously to transfer $250,000 to police overtime and $15,000 to wire department overtime from the municipal stabilization account, which maintains a balance of $21,630,452. Finance Committee Chair Mark C.

Bodanza presented the financial report during the routine meeting, attended by eight members with Councillor Susan Chalifoux Zephir absent. The Council also confirmed Elizabeth Meservey to the Disability Commission and approved changes to the Fall Brook Elementary School Building Committee.
