Leominster Finance Committee approves $3 million stabilization transfer. The Finance Committee approved appropriations totaling more than $3 million, including a $3 million transfer to the stabilization account from excess and deficiency funds, along with appropriations to the City Solicitor ($50,000), Bulletproof Vest Fund ($20,000), Buildings Expense Account ($10,000), Parking Enforcement ($3,812.50), Veterans Expense Account ($420), and a disabled high school student scholarship ($500). Finance Committee members Mark C.
Bodanza, Susan Chalifoux Zephir, and Thomas F. Ardinger approved all votes unanimously except the Buildings Expense appropriation, which passed 2-0 after Chalifoux Zephir raised concerns. The committee also authorized Purchasing Agent Gregory C.
Chapdelaine to award a five-year school bussing services contract beginning July 1, 2026.
