Four Leominster Boards Set Meetings This Week

Four Leominster boards return to the calendar this week: the Conservation Commission and Cultural Council meet Tuesday, and the Housing Authority and Zoning Board of Appeals meet Wednesday. The Leominster Public Library is also opening a run of new adult programming, including a workshop, a film night and a weekly chess club.

The Leominster Public Library has added several adult programs for the final week of August. A Hand and Foot Scrubs Workshop for Adults runs Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a Film Night for Adults on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Chess Club begins Monday, Aug. 31, from 7 to 8:45 p.m., and the library's ongoing English Conversation Class meets Tuesdays at 10 a.m., including a session Aug. 25.
