Leominster Commission approves Walk for Hope event, receives infrastructure updates

Leominster Recreation Commission approved the Beacon of Hope Walk for Hope event at Barrett Park on May 3 and received infrastructure updates. Chair Maureen Donatelli led the commission as it confirmed advancement of the Colburn Pond Dam Project toward summer construction following final permit approval from the Office of Dam Safety. MassTrails Grant work has funded foot bridge repairs at the peninsula shelter, with construction of the All Persons Trail scheduled to begin in spring.
Minutes from the January 20 meeting were approved unanimously.
