Leominster Posts New Rules for Home Businesses
LEOMINSTER — Leominster's Community Development office posted new guidance this week spelling out the parameters for operating a home business in the city, one of several administrative items City Hall rolled out as it filled in its September calendar of hearings and events.
TOWN HALL Community Development published a new "Home Business FAQs" page and attached information detailing the rules residents must follow to run a business out of their home, according to the city's News & Announcements feed. The city did not detail specific requirements in the alert itself, directing residents to the attached documentation.
The Board of Health has an agenda and meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 2, per the city's public meetings calendar. Separately, the city has four public hearings, numbered 01-27, 02-27, 03-27 and 08-27, set for Monday, Sept. 14.
COMMUNITY & ARTS The Leominster Public Library opens a new exhibit, "Many Pieces One Image," on Tuesday, Sept. 2, as its next Featured Art Exhibit. The library also hosts a Meet and Greet with Penny the Cockapoo for kids on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 6 to 7 p.m.
COMING UP At the library: Fall Book Boxes for Adults, the Teen Writing Contest and the Teen Fall Reading Program all begin Tuesday, Sept. 1, alongside an English Conversation Class at 10 a.m. and an Alzheimer and Dementia Caregivers Support Group at 6 p.m. Chair Yoga for Pain and Stress Relief follows Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 5:30 p.m. Teens can attend Start of School Henna on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., the same day the city holds a ribbon cutting for Village Canine Grooming. Preschool Yoga meets Friday, Sept. 4, at 9:30 a.m., and the city's Citywide Yard Sale runs Saturday, Sept. 5.
