Leominster Sets Public Hearings for Aug. 10, Doyle Field Meeting Tuesday

LEOMINSTER -- Leominster has scheduled two public hearings for Monday, Aug. 10, and a Doyle Field Commission meeting for Tuesday, Aug. 4, according to notices posted to the city's public meetings calendar, while City Hall also added a new set of frequently asked questions addressing its Flamingo Express program.

TOWN HALL The city posted a new FAQ page answering residents' questions about its Flamingo Express program this week, according to the city's website. The posting does not detail the program itself beyond the FAQ format, but it joins a run of recent additions to the city's public-information pages.

COMMUNITY & ARTS The Leominster Public Library has added "Along Route 1: Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts," a talk for adults, to its calendar for Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 6 to 7 p.m. The library's teen calendar also lists a Teen Writer's Club session that evening, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., continuing its summer slate of programming for young writers.

COMING UP The Doyle Field Commission meets Tuesday, Aug. 4, per the city's public meetings calendar. The city has also scheduled two public hearings for Monday, Aug. 10, listed as case Nos. 05-27 and P01-27, though further details on the matters under review were not posted. National Night Out 2026 takes place Tuesday, Aug. 4, and the library's "Along Route 1: Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts" talk is set for Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 6 to 7 p.m.
