Planning Board · Meeting of May 4, 2026

Leominster Planning Board accepts 26-lot Willard Street subdivision plan, approves solar array. The board, chaired by Vice Chairperson Carol Vittorioso, voted unanimously 8-0 to accept the traditional subdivision plan after rejecting an open-space alternative over Fire Department concerns about emergency vehicle access. Christopher Anderson of Hannigan Engineering presented both options at the May 4 meeting.

The board also voted unanimously 8-0 to approve a ground-mounted solar array at 121 Maple Avenue with roof-mounted panels, granting eight waivers from zoning and solar ordinance standards after review by Director of Planning and Development Elizabeth Wood.
