Planning Board approves Union Street residential and Research Drive projects

LEOMINSTER — Planning Board approves 11-unit residential development and contractor facility in unanimous votes. The Board unanimously approved an 11-unit residential development at 26 Union Street featuring a renovated existing structure and five new dwellings with municipal water and sewer connections, granting four requested zoning waivers for bicycle racks, landscaping, building orientation, and parking placement. The Board also unanimously approved a 7,200-square-foot contractor facility at 471 Research Drive with five units, one for the applicant's use and four for rent.

Both projects received six-to-zero votes and must comply with police and health department conditions. Vice Chairperson Carol Vittorioso presided in the absence of Chairman John Souza.
