Property Committee votes to declare former police station surplus

LEOMINSTER — City Property Committee unanimously declares former police station property surplus for competitive sale. The committee, chaired by Councilor Eladia Romero and including Councilors Carrie Noseworthy, Pauline M. Cormier, and City Council President Claire M.

Freda, voted to declare the Church Street property (Map 28 Lot 12) surplus on Mayor Dean J. Mazzarella's request. Appraised at $40,000, the Assessor's Office noted the building generates little market interest in its current condition.

The City Council will make the final sale decision.
