LEOMINSTER — Recreation Commission reviews capital projects including accessible trail at Barrett Park. Director Nicholas Abruzzi presented financial accounts in good standing and updated the Commission on the Mass Trails Grant funded All Persons Trail project, slated for spring construction with completion in fall 2026. The trail will feature braille access and accessibility amenities for people with disabilities.
Work continues on Lassie League Field Two and Fournier Park. Youth basketball enrollment remains strong, with winter leagues for grades 5-12 underway.
