LEOMINSTER — Recreation Commission confirms dam project contract and summer program schedule. Director Benjamin Kiwanuka reported Maverick Construction will begin the Colburn Pond Dam improvement project in late June or early July, targeting October completion at Barrett Park. The State Swimming Pool opens June 20, with swimming lessons beginning June 22 and summer programs starting June 29.
