Maverick Construction chosen for $1.2 million pond project

LEOMINSTER — Maverick Construction chosen as low bidder for $1.2 million pond restoration. The Recreation Commission approved two facility requests: a memorial bench at Doyle Field Courts for Debbie McNally and an annual skateboarding event at Frankie Fortuna Skatepark on June 27 in honor of Frankie Fortuna. Separately, splash pads are opening next week, the State Swimming Pool opens June 20, and summer programs begin June 29.
